Aug 27, 2026: A New Reading Experience & Smarter Sharing

Blogs get a complete makeover and sharing gets a lot more control. Here's what changed for you and your members.

✨New Features

Redesigned blog reading experience: Blogs now have a cleaner layout with a new header and better spacing. Headings, quotes, lists, tables, callouts, and highlighted text have all been refreshed so articles are easier to read from start to finish.
Author card inside the article: The author's details now sit right alongside the content, with a sidebar that follows you as you scroll.
Sticky share rail: Social share buttons stay with you down the left side of an article, so you can share the moment something resonates. The share prompt and buttons have been refreshed too.
Link preview toggle: When you add a link to a post, you can now choose whether it shows a preview card or stays as a plain link.
Clearer blog access: A new access screen, badges, and info banners make it obvious what's free, what's included in your plan, and what you'd need to unlock. There's also a "contact admin" option when a blog isn't available.
Report a blog: Blogs now have a report button, matching the rest of the community.
Manage your subscription: A new button takes you straight to the billing portal to update or manage your subscription.
Related blogs, front and centre: The related blogs section now spans the full width and suggests more to read at the end of every article.

🔧Improvements

The feed remembers where you were: Hitting back in your browser now returns you to the exact spot in the feed you left, with everything you'd already scrolled through still loaded.
Better on smaller screens: Call-to-action and share sections now adapt properly to mobile, and long content no longer spills outside its container.
Easier keyboard navigation: Clearer focus states make it simpler to move around the app without a mouse.
Nicer category badges: Category colours are assigned more thoughtfully, so neighbouring badges no longer look alike.
Cleaner filters: Filters now show a count of 0 instead of leaving it blank, and spacing lines up properly between mobile and desktop.
Better wording: Member and connection counts now read correctly whether there's one or many, and are hidden entirely when there are none.
Polished cover images and badges: Blog covers use a wider, more cinematic crop, and "recommended" badges come in styles that suit where they appear.

🐛Fixes

Event notifications: Notifications now come through reliably for the cases that were previously being missed.
Video links in blogs: Adding a video by URL now works properly instead of being rejected.
Pinned posts: Staff roles can now pin and unpin posts, unpinning works reliably, and unpinning several in a row no longer leaves the page loading forever.
Accurate group member counts: Member counts now go down correctly when someone leaves a group.
Posting to a group from your feed no longer throws an error.
Access banners: Expiry warnings no longer appear on subscriptions that renew automatically.
Free content: Upgrade prompts no longer show on content that's already free and public.
Access prompts open where you are, instead of bouncing you to the plans page.
Mobile polish: The post detail page no longer shifts as it loads, and the GIF picker corners now match the rest of the app.
No more white flash from the loading bar when a page first opens.
Tidier blog layout: Header spacing, action buttons, and the gap before related blogs are all properly aligned.
