Changelog

Sep 22, 2026: Events, Media and a Faster Experience

Major features

  • Click any avatar or cover photo to open it full screen.
  • Event pages show clearer timing details, and you can download a calendar invite straight from the event.
  • You can filter the events list by past events, and event cards show the right button depending on whether you are registered.
  • Uploading audio or video now shows a progress bar, and videos you drop but never post are cleaned up automatically.
  • Blogs, events, products, plans, groups and courses now load through the new API, so listings and tab counts come back faster.
  • Reported content is now marked as such on blogs, events and products, so flagged items are easy to spot.
  • A public status page tracks community uptime, and excessive requests are throttled to keep things stable.

Improvements

  • Hovering the top navigation icons and your avatar now shows a label.
  • The Save Changes button on your profile only turns on once you have actually changed something.
  • The onboarding welcome banner has a new look.
  • Bot profiles no longer show connection and follower counts, and members in chat can be filtered by the Bot role.
  • Overall platform stability and reliability improved.

Fixes

  • Usernames are set once when you register and can no longer be changed afterwards.

  • Event filters return the right results for cancelled and published events.
  • Event search matches on the event title and shows the newest first.
  • Members can open an event from a shared link again.
  • The same member no longer appears on more than one page of search results.
  • Tooltips, chat windows, report dialogs, reaction menus, the emoji picker and the mention list no longer hide behind other parts of the screen.
  • Connection and follow requests are marked as read once you accept or reject them.
  • Reporting a comment or reply now shows the Reported Successfully confirmation.
  • Large comment images are scaled down, so mobile no longer crashes or shows a blurred full screen view.
  • Duplicate share buttons are removed from the blog page.
  • Group banners now say the right thing when your subscription gives you access but you have not joined yet.
  • The group action button no longer errors out.
