Oct 5, 2026: Faster Media, a Better Audio Player and Improved Emails

Major features

  • The Global feed now includes posts from the paid and private groups you have access to, so you no longer need to switch to My Feed to see them.
  • Photos, videos and files load faster: members-only photos load almost twice as fast, PDFs open about a third faster, and jumping ahead in a video is much quicker.
  • Public images like covers, profile pictures and logos are kept on servers close to your visitors, on tribecrafter.app and on your own domain.
  • Photos in paid groups, course files, certificates and chat attachments only open for people who are allowed to see them, even with the direct link.
  • The 50 MB total limit per post is gone, so 10 photos at up to 20 MB each now go through, and the progress bar shows how much has actually uploaded.
  • The audio player has been rebuilt with 10-second skip buttons, new 1.25× and 1.5× speeds, and only one recording playing at a time.
  • Members now get an email when they cancel a subscription, a reminder 24 hours before their access ends, and a final email when it expires.
  • The "here's what you missed" email only goes out when something new has happened, and at most three times while you're away (after 1, 3 and 7 days).

Improvements

  • Group lists, group pages, group posts and group member lists load faster.
  • Product and plan cards show a short description, what's included, and the original price next to the sale price.
  • Plans and products that include blogs list them with everything else they include.
  • Report reasons now match what you're reporting, with separate options for courses, products, plans and members.
  • Your bio can be up to 1,000 characters (up from 255), and the line breaks you add are kept.
  • Opening a post keeps your place in its audio, and the player in the feed pauses while the post is open.
  • After you upload a recording, a "Processing audio" message shows until it's ready to play.
  • Click a course's cover picture to see it full size.
  • In your order history, hover over an order ID to see it in full and copy it with one click.
  • In the emoji picker you can switch between emoji categories, scrolling it doesn't move the page behind it, and it closes when you click away or send a comment.
  • When you @mention someone, the list of names always stays on screen, and the community bot is no longer suggested.
  • When you share a post to a chat, that chat moves to the top of your list.
  • The list of members you've blocked has a lighter, cleaner look.
  • The menu and page titles say "Blog" instead of "Blogs".
  • When you change your name or email, your billing details are updated to match.
  • Product cards say whether they include future content or only what's available now.
  • Chat messages can only include files you uploaded yourself.
  • Files from removed posts and deleted chat messages can't be opened anymore.
  • Uploaded files can't run code when someone opens them.
  • Videos can be skipped ahead without loading the whole file first.

  • Fixed new members being unable to finish onboarding when their bio was long.
